Hello Year 6

We hope you are all well. It was lovely to see so many of you in our Zoom calls last week. Don’t worry if you didn’t get chance to join us; there are more meetings this week at 9.00am on Monday and Thursday.

Well done to all of you who have been exploring the First News iHub and completing the activities we have set you. In fact, it’s starting to get a bit competitive with some children doing extra activities to collect more points and get on the class and year group leaderboards.

We’ve got lots of interesting online lessons for you this week including a live Maths lesson on Tuesday morning at 10.55am with Mrs Formby-Jackson revising multiples, factors and prime numbers; a streamed science lesson with Mrs Lavelle on inheritance with a little help from the Mr Men and Little Misses and the story of Petula Perpetual-Motion from The World’s Worst Children read by Ms Gallant.

We look forward to receiving lots more of your lovely work. You are working so hard and should be really proud of yourselves.

Take care and have a great week.

The Year 6 Team
