Year 2

Welcome to Year 2!

We will have PE on a Thursday and Friday. Please ensure PE kits are in school all week.

As part of our homework we encourage Y2 children to read at least 3 times a week. Once children have read at least 3 times they are entered into a weekly raffle to win a book to celebrate their reading achievements.

Children must return their reading planners every Thursday.

Weekly homework will be set on the Seesaw app. Each child has a unique code to access their online learning at home.

We would love to see any photos of you continuing your learning at home. You can send them through twitter to @acklamwhin or directly on Seesaw.

Staff Emails:

You can contact the Year 2 staff directly via the following email addresses. Staff will reply as soon as possible, within working hours.

Weekly Homework

In Y2 weekly homework and spellings will be set via the learning platform Seesaw. The children can complete the set activities and upload them to their Seesaw Journal. Your child has been given their own personal join code to bring home as well as instructions for how to access their personal journal on Seesaw. The children will upload some of their independent learning in school and we would love to see them uploading their learning from home too.
