Reading and Phonics

Approaches in the school

The school uses the “Oxford Reading Tree” as the main spine of teaching and learning to read. However, the school has a huge library of books that the children have access to read, enjoy and learn from.

The school uses “Letters” and “Sounds” as its Phonic Learning Programme. This programme begins in Nursery and develops throughout the school.
